Beth Petrix has been teaching in the Abbott program for 12 years. This is currently her ninth year at Howley School. She received her Bachelors degree in elementary and early childhood education from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.
Cynthia A. Lins has a Bachelors degree from the College of New Jersey in Early Childhood and Sociology. Mrs. Lins has been at the Howley School for twelve years. Six years substituting and six years in her own classroom. Mrs. Lins enjoys teaching the young to give them a good foundation.
Karen Truban has been a Preschool Teacher with the Howley Preschool for the past six years. She is a graduate of Rider University with a Degree in Business Education and a P-3 Certificate in Early Childhood from The College of New Jersey. In addition to teaching preschool, Karen taught high school for 5 years before staying home with her husband and three children.
Roberta graduated from Georgian Court University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. She is certified to teach grades N-8, with 4 years experience teaching preschool and is married with 2 children.
Sharon Dunlap has been a teacher at Howley School since 2002. She has a degree in elementary education and sociology from Rider University and my Preschool to Third certificate from the College of New Jersey.
Stephanie Harle (2010) holds an MAT and P-3 Certificate from the College of New Jersey. She also received her American Montessori Society Credential in Early Childhood through the Princeton Center for Teacher Education. Stephanie received a BA in Sociology from the University of Maryland, College Park. She has 22 years of teaching experience at the preschool level. She has presented professional development classes related to the PCMI Assessment and Math & Science in the Early Childhood classroom for the Trenton Board of Education. She is married and has 2 children.
Valerie Mancuso has been a Preschool Teacher at the Howley School since 2005. Born and raised in Trenton and a graduate of the Trenton Public School System, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology, from Trenton State College. Valerie has been teaching for over thirty years with experiences in preschool, first grade and fifth grade.
Victoria Sobke has been a preschool teacher for 11 years & loves teaching young children because they are always very excited to learn. She has two children of her own, a 9 year old daughter and a 6 year old son.
Francesca Eory, has studied and received a Bachelors degree in Art at Rider University in 1998 and continued my education at the College of New Jersey and received my P-3 in 2002. I have been teaching in Trenton for 14 years and began my experience teaching preschool at The Children's Center and Preschool in Trenton until 2006. I then furthered my preschool experience at the Howley School and have been here for 7 years.
Carol Tamasi received a Master's in Arts and Teaching in Early Childhood Education P-3 and a Bachelor's of Arts in Women and Gender Studies with a minor in Deaf Studies from The College of New Jersey. She worked at The College of New Jersey before joining the teaching staff at Howley School in 2014.
Brad Unick holds a Masters degree in Early Childhood from The College of New Jersey and a Bachelors in Criminal Justice. While working as a Teacher Assistant in a preschool he found his passion for teaching. He has now been teaching preschool since 2010.
