Ms. Beth
Beth Petrix has been teaching in the Abbott program for 12 years. This is currently her ninth year at Howley School. She received her Bachelors degree in elementary and early childhood education from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Karen
Karen Truban has been a Preschool Teacher with the Howley Preschool for the past six years. She is a graduate of Rider University with a Degree in Business Education and a P-3 Certificate in Early Childhood from The College of New Jersey. In addition to teaching preschool, Karen taught high school for 5 years before staying home with her husband and three children.
Ms. Roberta
Roberta graduated from Georgian Court University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. She is certified to teach grades N-8, with 4 years experience teaching preschool and is married with 2 children.
Ms. Vickie
Victoria Sobke has been a preschool teacher for 11 years & loves teaching young children because they are always very excited to learn. She has two children of her own, a 9 year old daughter and a 6 year old son.
Ms. Michele
Michele Reilly graduated from New Jersey City University and Kean University with a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education and Psychology. She currently holds a Preschool-3 certificate and a Teacher of the Handicapped Certificate. She has worked in the preschool field for over 20 years, but this is her first year here at Howley School. She is married and has two fur babies. She enjoys camping, cooking and reading books in her spare time.
Ms. Melony
Ms. Melony graduated from Rider University with a degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. She is certified to teach grades N-8, and has been working with and teaching preschool age children for over 20 years . Her teaching career began in 1999 at the Howley School, as she left to continue her education and raise her daughter. She happily rejoined the Howley School family in 2019.
Ms. Aidan
Ms. Aidan graduated from Dickinson College with degrees in Educational Studies and Environmental Studies. She currently holds a P-3 certification. She has been working with children ages 2-5 for the past three years. This is her first year at The Howley School and is so excited to engage with the students and families!
Ms. Cindy
Ms. Cindy graduated from Rider University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and holds a P–3 Certification. She has been working with young children for the past five years, passionate about helping them learn and grow.
Ms. Karen
My Karen is a certified Pre-k teacher and has been teaching for about 20 years. Her goal is to create a safe, fun classroom where every student feels excited to learn, and loves to make them laugh. When she’s not teaching, she loves scrapbooking, biking, music, the beach, and spending time with her two grown children and her senior Cattledog Zoey.
Ms. Sarah
Ms. Sarah is a recently graduate from Rowan University in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree focusing in education. She currently holds her P-3 teaching certification, and is super excited to start this journey! I look forward to creating a fun, caring, and welcoming classroom where every child feels happy, supported and excited to learn!
